Care for God's Creation
Don't forget this weekend we will have the Water Walk from 6-8pm at Blessed Sacrament! A permission form is required for all students not attending with a parent. It is attached below!
To wrap up this year I decided to focus on something that many of us may have found difficult. Joy. In May of 2020, Pope Francis said, "Even in the darkest times, even in the painful times... We are called to be bearers of joy." So, to finish this year, I offer you, a wonderful piece of God's Creation, examples of joy in the world God created. Perhaps you, like me, will enjoy one of God's greatest gifts to humanity, happy tears. Enjoy.
Music
We humans are the wonderful ability to be creative, spontaneous, and unwaveringly beautiful. All of these come together when we create music.
What we take for granted
Thanks to our doctors, nurses, researchers, and lab techs, we are able to live lives for which we take for granted things which others do without. Here is an example of wonderful human ingenuity and care.
Kindness
Is there a greater way for us to show care for God's creation than random and unexpected acts of kindness?
A human's best friend
Anyone who has had a dog knows the unconditional love you receive. How amazing is it that a different species than us can have such a huge impact on our happiness?
Laughter
You want to see pure joy? Here is my youngest daughter, Norah, bringing you a smile.
