I hate to be like all of the local stores and advertise Christmas before Halloween, BUT there are a couple of Advent activities to get on the calendar now:

1.The Youth Outreach Team is selling wreaths again this year via email and online orders. You can find the order form here:

2. We are hosting another whole community Advent Wreath making event on November 22. Bring your wreath form from last year and just purchase new candles and greens ($6) or buy the ring, greens, and candles for ($12) Check back next week for details on registering for this COVID SAFE event!

Our traditional Thanksgiving food/cereal collection for the Community Thanksgiving Baskets is taking a Covid twist this year just like everything else, but there are still three ways to help feed the hungry this month:

November 1: Food collection for the Emergency Food Pantry at all Masses

November 8: CEREAL COLLECTION at all Masses

**Consider making a monetary donation to help provide the Community Thanksgiving Basket operation with a truck load of food for Thanksgiving dinners for those who need a little help this year. More details will be in next week's Flocknote.

One last CLOTHE THE NAKED thought before we roll into November next weekend. Many of us have heard of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society and their thrift stores. In fact there are thrift stores in Bay City and Flint that provide quality, low cost clothing options, and all of the proceeds go to help the poor.
